(Disclosure: This is my wedding)

A classy, yet simple wedding, filled with DIY touches.  The ceremony was held at the bride’s childhood church, Buffalo Presbyterian, which is also one of the oldest churches in the city. Revolution Mill Studios, a converted flannel mill, hosted the reception.  Guests were greeted with his and her cocktails, including strawberry infused vodka made by the bride. Tasty appetizers and a delicious dinner of dry rub pork tenderloin and herb crusted cod added to the southern charm of this wedding. This crowd loved to dance and the band Empty Pocket kept the party going for hours. Guests did leave the dance floor to see the couple cut the cake. Maxie B’s makes amazing cakes and were kind enough to incorporate the bride’s own flower design (which was used on the Save-the-Date’s); another DIY touch. At the end of the night, the bride and groom rushed under a sparklers held by their friends and family. The couple was whisked away by an old black and white checkered cab.
